What is Collegiate Advocacy Day?
Collegiate Advocacy Day is an annual event that brings together collegiate students, preservice educators, and university faculty from across the state to represent Florida music educators and students in conversations with our lawmakers. Individuals of all ages, experience levels, and backgrounds are welcome to participate. A virtual training session on legislative engagement will be offered to all registered participants.

Tentative Schedule
8:00 AM - Check-Ins, Welcome, & Introductions
8:30 AM - Advocacy Briefing Meetings with the FMEA Advocacy Committee
9:00 AM - Group Collaboration Meetings
9:30 AM–3:00 PM - Legislator Visits, with lunch and professional development between meetings.
