Hill Day Housing Project
In order to make Collegiate Advocacy Day participation increasingly accessible to students traveling from other regions of the state, the Florida NAfME Collegiate Advocacy Committee has created a bulletin board post to allow traveling students to connect with Tallahassee collegiates who may be able to provide temporary accommodations the night before or after Collegiate Advocacy Day. If you are planning to travel to Tallahassee and are in need of a safe place to sleep, please post a sticky note on the bulletin board listing your needs and email addresses (number of travelers in group, gender identities, special accommodations needed).
If you are a Tallahassee student with a couch available, extra bed, or even floor space for a sleeping bag, please consider posting a sticky note and offering this space to a fellow collegiate in need. Hotels are expensive, and even a floor space in a safe home is in many cases a much better option than sleeping in a vehicle or driving through the night on very little rest. Remember that the individuals willing to travel to participate in Collegiate Advocacy Day are the very best and brightest of your future colleagues, and that this opportunity should be available to all chapters and students.
